Thomas S. Drolet
Mr. Thomas Drolet is a Canadian living in Granite Falls, North Carolina, USA. Mr. Drolet spent 26 years with Ontario Hydro in various engineering, research and operations functions. He formed Canada’s research and development program into Fusion engineering and technology (CFFTP) in 1982 and then moved into International commercial work with Ontario Hydro International, a spin-off unit of the world's fourth largest electrical utility, where he was named President and CEO in 1993. His duties included all aspects of marketing, project management, and operations with electrical utilities in over 40 countries worldwide. He then joined DTE Energy Technologies in May 2000. As Vice President, International Business, he was responsible for developing international markets, partners and sales for DTE Energy Technologies extensive distributed generation product portfolio. Prior to joining DTE Energy Technologies, Mr. Drolet was Managing Director of American Electric Power Canada, and President of Canadian Energy Opportunities, Inc. where he was involved in mergers, acquisitions and other consulting activities in the Canadian and US power sectors. Mr. Drolet has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Royal Military College in Canada, a Masters of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a DIC from Imperial College, University of London, England. Tom also obtained a certificate from the University of Western Ontario (late 80's) in International Business. Tom said that he is thrilled to be joining the Board of Western GeoPower Corp in order to continue his work in helping well positioned Canadian Energy companies become significant International developers and operators of Renewable Energy projects. Tom plans to be very active in developing the necessary Electrical Utility relationships and to helping to extend the companies reach into other International arenas. |

Mike Long, MSc, PE
Mike Long has extensive Project Management experience, having served as the Engineering Project Manager for a series of large geothermal flash plant projects totaling more than 400 MWe in new capacity worldwide. He spent over 15 years working for POWER Engineers, Inc., a world leader in the design and engineering of geothermal energy projects, where he held the position of Manager of Renewable Energy Projects.

Randy Fulcher
Randy Fulcher has 35 years of geothermal drilling experience throughout various fields in California (including The Geysers Field), Southeast Asia and Central America. His expertise includes well drilling, completion procedures and repair work. For the past decade, Mr. Fulcher worked as Pacific Area Down-Hole Systems Manager for Weatherford International, Inc.

Tim Smith
Tim Smith has 26 years of experience as a Drilling Foreman/Superintendent in geothermal and natural gas operations, including 16 years with Calpine Corporation primarily focused on The Geysers Field. Mr. Smith has significant experience coordinating and planning drilling operations as well as drilling management. |

Craig Aspinall
Craig Aspinall, a former senior editor with The Canadian Press and Reuters news agencies, established a public and government relations firm in 1975 and has consulted to a number of major corporations such as mining industry giant BHP Billiton as well as to small hydro power projects. He has been involved with Western GeoPower since 2001 and was appointed Manager Public Policy in 2004 with responsibility for coordinating preparation of the Company’s Application for Project Certification under British Columbia’s Environmental Assessment Act. In this capacity, he also is responsible for consultations with local governments, First Nations and community interest groups; and the preparation of socio-economic assessments.

Paula E. Blaydes, B.A.
Ms. Blaydes has over 30 years of experience with local, state and federal environmental/regulatory permitting in California as well as permitting experience with geothermal energy projects in the western United States. She has provided environmental expertise for both Cove Ft. and Blundell projects in Utah, as well as projects in Oregon and Nevada. California projects include The Geysers, Coso (China Lake Naval Weapons Center), Salton Sea, Honey Lake/Lassen County, Mammoth Lakes and Sierra County. She was responsible for preparing and obtaining numerous permits and authorizations for the 9 power plant (250+MW) Coso project during the construction and development process while she consulted and later served as the Corporate Manager of Permits and Environmental Affairs for CalEnergy Inc. Her geothermal environmental experience extends internationally to the Philippines and Costa Rica. In 2007, she was the sole author of the California Geothermal Permitting Guide for the California Energy Commission which is available on their website http://www.energy.ca.gov/2007publications/CEC-500-2007-027/CEC-500-2007-027.PDF. She obtained her B.A. degree in Environmental Studies & Land Use Planning with a minor in geology from Sonoma State University, California. |
